Directions to the Carlstadt Public School:

From Northern Bergen County – Route 17 south to the Paterson Plank/Sports Complex sign. Before the overpass, turn right at the Hoboken road exit (Meadowlands Diner on the right). Continue up the hill to the traffic light. Continue on Hoboken Road for nine blocks to Union St. Turn right on Union. Continue four blocks to the parking lot at the end. There is also street parking on Washington Street.

From Southern Bergen County – From Route 3, take Route 17 north to the Paterson Plank/Sports Complex exit. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left at the light. Proceed on Paterson Avenue to the next traffic light. Turn right onto Hackensack Street. At the next traffic light, turn left onto Hoboken Road. Proceed up the hill for nine blocks to Union St. Turn right on Union. Continue four blocks to the parking lot at the end. There is also street parking on Washington Street.

Parking: There are three parking lots at the school.

Upper Parking on Washington Street - The upper parking lot is for visitors and administration. There are handicapped spaces in this lot.

Lower Parking on Union Street – The lower parking lot is for teachers.

Back Parking off of Garden Street – The back parking lot provides additional parking for staff. Directions to this parking lot: From Route 17, take Hoboken Road to Garden Street. Make a right at the light on Garden Street. Follow Garden Street past Central Avenue. Sun Chemical Corporation is on the right. Turn into the Sun Chemical parking lot on Lester Stagg Way. Follow through the Sun Chemical lot, through the gate and up behind the school to the parking lot.
