 Guidance Program

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is a pleasure to introduce myself as the school guidance counselor for Carlstadt Public School. It is a privilege to work with you and your children and for an outstanding school community. I look forward to providing support, encouragement, and guidance so that all students of Carlstadt can reach their full potential.

As the school guidance counselor, I will be providing classroom lessons on important and timely issues such as: bullying, self-esteem, time management, social skills building, and test taking strategies, et cetera. In addition, I will assist students individually and/or in small groups who are experiencing emotional, social, behavioral, or academic difficulties. Please be assured that any formal or ongoing counseling requires your written consent. Importantly, confidentiality issues involving the counseling relationship will be protected to the fullest extent.
