Registration Information for Pre-K and Kindergarten Students

Dear CPS Families,
       

        Registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten students for the 2024-2025 school year will take place
on March 12th from 1:30-3:30 at CPS. Please note, since our Pre-K program is lottery based,
registration on March 12th does not guarantee your child a spot in the program.
Pre-K parents will be
notified on April 1, 2024 regarding their child's placement.
        If you are interested in registering your child, please bring the documents listed below on
March 12th. If you have started the registration process, please contact the front office to check if any
paperwork is outstanding.


Student Documents Present one of the following:
● Child’s birth certificate
● US Passport (if no birth certificate is available)
Must present ONE of the following:
● Deed/Mortgage statement
● Current Property Tax Bill
● Affidavit (individual providing housing, if applicable)
● If leasing-must provide updated lease which includes names of all residents (including
children)
In addition, you must provide TWO of the following: (All must have your name and
address)
● Current Gas Bill
● Current Cable Bill
● Current Water Bill
● Homeowner/Car Insurance Policy
● Pay Stub
● NJ Driver’s License
● Bank Statement
● Credit Card Bill
● Medical Reports
● Sewer Bill
